Woodlawn, MD – Beleaguered homeowners from all over central Maryland met with counselors, pro bono attorneys and lenders at the fifth foreclosure prevention seminar hosted last year by Seventh District Congressman Elijah Cummings.

Even as some industry analysts warn that 2011 could see a record number of foreclosures, Maryland under the leadership of Governor Martin O’Malley and Lt. Governor Anthony Brown will continue to work aggressively with partners such as Rep. Cummings to help families find sustainable alternatives to losing their homes.
